Busy week

After such a great time at my companies conference, where I had minibar paid for, exquiset food and beaches surrounding- I've landed back with a pile of work on my desk. Multiple clients wondering where I have been for the past week after explicitly telling them I would be away.

People are amazing sometimes, I let them know well in advance that I would be away and uncontactable. I made sure all the work I could do up to that point would be done. Of course though they didnt get there part of the job done and it's my fault. Unfortunatly I took the precausion to warn everybody that I would be away, so they have no leg to stand on.

Just to kick them in the teeth a little I made sure that our email conversations were forwarded throughout the company, I don't expect anything out of it but at least these few people will be known to try and weasel their ways out of work.

Extended.

Looks like they have extended the conference I'm attending by another 2 days. At least they have put me up in a nice hotel with the minibar payed for.

For those that were interested its a it security conference for my company, have been with them for a 6 years and every 2 years, we have a big meet and greet with the superiors and discuss the latest security measures available and plan future rollouts, budgeting etc... quite boring to be honest, but pays well and allows me to travel all around the world.

The other plus is the meals being provided are fantastic, usually its just sandwhiches, rolls, and generally plain tasteless junk. This year they have provided nachos, roasts (lamb, pork), and deserts.

I did make it down to the beach during a lunch break and caught a nice picture of a sand-pumping jetty and some shells.

Some Monkeys from brazil

These little guys were great just hanging around outside the hostel, wanting bananas. However I was watching a wild life documentary one night and discovered they are actually quite aggressive little fellows.

Oh well cute to look at and fun to feed bananas too! Was funny watching them steal some fellow travelers loaf of bread and getting yelled at in german.

Haunted Towns/ Houses

Hey guys wondering if anyone knew of any cool haunted spots around the world?

Wallpapers

In my spare time I love taking picutes. I have alot of photographs that I and people I know use for desktop wallpapers. When not posting about travel I will upload pictures that I feel would suit the purpose of being a desktop background.

Most are nature scenes, some of the night sky aswell as some of city and urban exploration. I have hundreds of them and will post about them with select few each week, and at the end of the week I will upload a compressed file with fifty of the best. You will be able to download the compressed file and pic out your favorites or just have a browse through them.

May even do some reviews on cameras and equipment best suited for travel, and or just general purpose photography.

Machu Pichu Summit

Ok here they are pics from the summit. You can see from the pictures that it wasn't the ideal day, but it was still breathtaking and I even think the cloud cover added a little mystery to the ancient place of Machu Pichu.

I cant recommend going here enough, its such an experience and sense of accomplishment when you make it to the top, seriously a top of the world feeling. Almost spiritual.
